Never a War

This is an acocount of how naive and stupid I was to think that war was non-existent. The human mind can block out things it doesn't want to hear and that's what happened with me. I just chose not let it get it to me. But the blissful ignorance wasn't worth what I was about to endure. The sorrow, the pain, it was too much. If I had known sooner what was to come, I would've come ready and prepared. In times like these, you don't waste your breath praying for the lives of your loved ones, you'll find yourself praying for their peaceful death. You don't know what some things can do to you, you don't know how some things can change your life.
