Speaking from experience, i can testify that when parents divorce, whether you like to admit it or not, the child suffers most, there's a tribe in west Africa, the Yoruba tribe, they say (when two elephants fight, it's the grass that suffer)... in this poems, i was simply trying to establish how a child tries to bring Peace and togetherness to a family soon to fall apart, his efforts were not enough and eventually his parents gets divorced... He had finally encountered a situation he couldn't control... Who's fight should it really have been? the child trying to keep his family together, save himself the psychological torture? or the parents sticking together for the sake of not just love but family bond.
