(Charmed book 1) Set in the year 2020, in an alternate future where Wyatt didn't turn evil, Lila-Rose Anderson is a 15 year old girl with special abilities. She can control the elements, gather information from someone with just one touch and can also read their thoughts. When she was six Lila experienced a tragedy in which her mom died and only she knows the true story. Taken in by Piper Halliwell and her family, Lila has lived with them for nearly ten years and has grown attached to each of them. She has especially grown attached to Piper's children Melinda, Wyatt and Chris. However when she finally becomes the girlfriend of her boy mate from school, things get complicated. She has to help her friends with their problems as well as battling her new found feelings for one of the Halliwell boys. On top of this she has to keep her dark secret from the Halliwells. Can she do it and battle the evil growing in her life?

I absolutely love Charmed so much and this cast of characters seems like I am in for a really good story. I can't wait to get started reading it.
