Zari Hence is a bit of a contradictor. She's over analytical yet she can be spontaneous at the same time. Her quirky ways has gotten her into a lot of trouble over the years and has caused her to make a lot of enemies in the process. No one is as big of an enemy as Kylan Clark, a not-so-blast from her past. When their paths cross in the future, Kylan discovers that his new-found purpose in life is to make Zari's life miserable. In her defense, who would have thought the guy she left minutes before sleeping with him nine years ago would turn out to be her new boss today?
As the two work closely together, tensions rise while other objects fly–namely at each others heads. Zari and Kylan have a lot to learn, but how hard will the lesson have to be to get their attention?
