Kamille is a French native, from the part of Paris they don't talk about in the media. A suburb really. But European suburbs are not like the American ones. Suburbs there are the grimy parts of town.
Still, when she moves to Sonnet Groves, Bourg, Michigan, United States of America, she is accused of being bourgie and pompous. Until she proves that France does have a ghetto, and she is from it. She slowly turns into the American version of a project chick. But with a accent. With her baby Carnell at her side, she's an untouchable. But when Carnell ain't her baby no more, how will she handle the projects?
When Kamille moves from the projects of Sonnet Groves into the rich part of town, Lake Shore Estates, she isn't easily accepted by the people there, cast out as a new money hood rat. Her crush, Michael, keeps his own crush secret from the rest of the student body until he's tired of that. But when he decides that he is tired of trying to make everyone else happy and that he wants her, what issues arise?
This story is going to be split in three parts.
