Blind Eye
“What’s wrong with your eyes?!” I immediately shouted.
He looked surprised by my reaction, but smiled kindly, “I was just born this way. I’m mostly blind in this one.” He said pointing at his blue eye. “But I have perfect vision in this one.” He said pointing at the brown one. “Does it bother you?”
I shook my head, but continued to stare at him. “Does it bother you?” I asked him back.
He laughed, “It used to when I was younger, but not anymore.”
Marlene was just a regular girl with a regular life. Nothing too special, so the moment she begins an odd friendship with an older boy her life get thrown in a tail spin. Something about this boy is a stranger than most though...he's blind in one eye. He's her best friend when she's young and then he mysteriously disappears for five years. Watch as the humor unfolds when he suddenly makes a dramatic reappearance in her life.
