"The Cranthos Chronicles"

So this story is about a young girl that is training to become a "Dragoncaster". Basically, a dragoncaster is someone that can use the power of Dragon Runes(written language of the dragons) to cast extremely powerful spells. The world is full of magic, any pauper can use it, but Dragoncasting is in a category all it's own. The girl's name is Shaira, and she was born on an island between two large continents. The dragons are referred to as "The Cranthos", as Shaira's religion sees them as gods and that is their name for their scaly deities... Hope you guys enjoy it, and PLEASE criticize the hell out of me. This is my first crack at a novel, and it is rather daunting...
