Nothing about that summer turned out the way Arielle Cadence had planned it to. Instead of getting the relaxing summer at home that she was hoping for, she was forced to move to a new town, living in a crowded house with her sick mother, aunt, uncle, and new baby cousin. She didn't want a job, and she didn't want a boyfriend, and yet somehow, by the end of the summer, she had both. Arielle soon discovers that some of the best moments in life aren't planned, and as her life twists her in a new direction, she'll see that maybe, just maybe, that old saying was right: 'Whenever one door closes, one more opens.'
