Anna Stuart is a 17 year-old girl struggling to find a balance between pursuing her dreams and supporting her single mother and brother. Just when she thinks that her life can’t get any more difficult, it gets downright weird: the strange childhood spots on her arm that she thought were just freckles start to change. As she searches for the answer to what’s happening to her, she tries to maintain some kind of teenage girl normalcy, but that’s difficult to do when it seems like no one is telling the truth and a dark figure is out to get her.
