A man diagnosed with a terminal illness decides to spend his last year sailing across the Atlantic ocean to eventually die in London.
While at sea, he is reminded of his painful past. When he lands at an Irish port, he reunites unexpectedly with an old flame, who teaches a dying man how to live.
