Nightmare Anatomy
"In the event of an emergency do not panic. Grovel at our feet and we will save you. Those who are of use will be recuruted as soldiers. Have a happy apocalypse."
That was the last announcement from the army. They were now the government. I will never forget those words, because most of all they spelled my doom. The world changed when the bombs fell. Now you couldn't trust anyone, soldier, friend, family, or being. The only thing that mattered was surviving. Then he showed up, and I thought I could trust him. It was the worst mistake I made. This isn't a love story, it's an arms race. And me? Well, I am a princess.

Good prologue. It could have had more detail and it was pretty short but it was still very good. It captured my attension with the action in it.

It's really gripping and although it isn't the average story I would read I can't help but continue!!! Great job :)
