Dusty Carter is a controller with a dark past. As a spy for the CIA, she is reluctant to do anything except wait for her next mission. When she escapes by the skin of her teeth from a man who wants her purely for her body and picks up a mandatory protection detail for Roan Broamson, oil king, things take a drastic turn for the sort-of-better. She wants to view Roan as just another job, but when things get serious she is forced away from him. Dusty takes mandatory leave to Seattle and connects with a small college-age youth group. What will happen when the man begins to invade his way into Dusty's mind, taking her aura bit by bit? Will Dusty become his mindless servant or will she escape in time to prevent a country-wide nuclear attack? Even if Dusty succeeds at preventing the attack the man is relentless and will do anything to destroy Dusty if he can't have her. Romance, adventure,suspense, and surprise come together as never before in the first installment of the Controllers series.

okay wait - how does one "invade" the other's aura and how would he convert into a "mindless servant"? is this like a mystical story? lol
love the cast! You should check out the story "uncommon common magic" i think you'd like it.
I like it. Nice start. This is different from all the stories I have read. The plot is great. Good Job!
