In the midst of World War 2, sixteen year old Ada Blau did not know what her future held when she was sent to a orphanage with her brother, Miles. She did not know that her brother would not make it that far. She did not know she would stumble upon a gorgeous boy and a courageous family. She did not know her populous, glamorous life in Berlin would soon turn in to a isolated, quiet life in Rothenburg. But now Ada has to balance school, the stress of adjusting, and the burden of war. August Austerlitz is not supposed to exist. But he does. And as he fights to keep himself alive and hidden from society, his fate is intertwined with Ada's.
