Have you ever seen the dead come back to life? Most would assume that you're dreaming or insane. Or, most likely, grieving. For Julia Vargas, an ex-cheerleader who's smart and sarcastic, this was true. It had been a year since she had lost her best friend. A boy by the name of Jonathan; he was charming, a man-whore, quick-witted, and more importantly made her laugh and smile. Her best friend since elementary school was taken violently away from her in a tragic car accident. All that Julia has left in her small town in the mid-west is her dear older brother Kyle and her two best friends. For some, this would be a fantastic support, but Julia can't seem to gather herself anymore. Unfixable.
Kyle Vargas is a typical grade-A football player, yet a loving brother who tries to hold it together for his sister since he also lost Jonathan; his best friend. Julia and Kyle are on their own; no Mother and no Father with an estranged family.
During Julia's dark times she meets a new boy at her school who's name is Loup Dagmir; a mysterious handsome boy that seems to bring the light back in her. Julia regains some normality in her life, until one fateful night. She sees Jonathan; not a ghost, but according to him a Werewolf. Julia believes she's dreaming or has drank too much of the punch, yet she listens to him as he tells her that Loup knows more about her then a new student should. With that single meeting, her life is twisted and torn. Who to believe and who to trust? Will her heart ever be empty of darkness and filled with love?
But, even if she follows love, will she be given the chance to follow it.
