"I'll do more than scare her." His promised words sent chilling tingles up my spine.
Shay doesn't know what to think when ruthless and merciless gang leader Cole just won't leave her alone, and he doesn't shower her with love and affection, quite the opposite. He's cruel, feared and he's made it his mission to torment her into Hell. What's a girl to do?
"I hate weak women, and you, Shay Star, are weak." His lip curled up in distaste and his cold gaze stopped me from moving any further away.
Being the leader of a large gang is tough work. Bring a stupid, weak and pitiful seventeen year old into it is Cole's idea of Hell.
"Dumbo. The name's quite fitting, don't you think?"
He thinks it'll be easy to control and manipulate her but he may have bit of more than he can chew, especially when she proves to be his hardest challenge yet.
"You're the enemy. Not him." I retorted stubbornly and shook myself free from his grasp.
She just doesn't get him. What does he want from her?
"Stop being so damn stupid! You're not going." He glared at me, jaw clenched and his dark eyes narrowed and daring me to object.
She's just a girl, he can't let a girl get the best of him. He'll be damned if he does!
"You have my protection, don't disappoint me."
She doesn't need him, or his protection and he can stuff his gang up his ...
"C-Cole," I stuttered, my teeth chattering from the cold, "h-help me... Please."
