Mel's life is no good and doesn't seem to be going anywhere but down. Her boyfriend, Cal, is abusive and possessive. Her parents are gone and she has to care for her baby brother whenever she isn't in school. But when a family of strangers moves into the neighborhood, things begin to change. Can the gorgeous Edward Cullen be just the savior Mel has been waiting for, or will his arrival be the final straw that brings her life to a tragic end? Can Edward save Mel or will he be too late?
