Derek was a a devilishly handsome boy who suffered with mild CP, ADHD and PDD. At eighteen years of age, despite his physical clumsiness and learning disabilities, he fought the odds to become a remarkable skier and dreamt of becoming a massage therapist.. Unfortunately, as he began his senior year in high school he was given "A Heartless Diagnosis."
