Layla Jones is happy. She's attractive, funny, and gets along with everyone- except Kyle Anderson, the annoying guy who lives next door. Avoiding Kyle would be easy, if only her parents didn't trust him so much. They go off for a week and Layla is supposed to stay over at Kyle's house. All of a sudden, he's acting like he owns her and Layla is not going to put up with that. She's determined to beat him at his own little game to teach him a lesson once and for all.
Insecurities and secrets are revealed as they spend more time together. It turns out, Kyle and Layla need each other more than they realise. Besides, two stubborn teenagers can only toy with each others feelings for so long until something drastic happens.
