Meet Madeline Harwell, a bruised and broken young girl who is new to the town. She has had to grow up faster than most teenagers; looking after her three year old brother and protecting him from their alcoholic abusive mother. She has no friends and is set on keeping it that way so that she can keep her home life a secret from the world.
Meet Kyle Gray, who has lived in this town his whole life. He has everything that he could have ever wished for, aside from the perfect girl. When he meets Madeline, he is intrigued and is determined to find out exactly what has happened to her.
