Cassi Edwards isn't what you would call an average girl. When she turned fifteen her mother died and her father turned to the call of alcohol, and instead took his anger out on his only daughter. Taken in by her best friend and her mother, Cassi's life has become rather comfortable, but she still has the rebellious wrenching pull inside her...Something that can get one girl into a lot of trouble along the line.
When she is dragged to one of the biggest parties of the year, Cassi meets the arrogant, troubled, asshole, Ash Vellay, and ends up punching him strait in the face after only a few minutes of talking - or arguing - with him. Thinking she will never have to see, or deal with him again...That is until she finds out that he lives right across the street from her new home.
She unknowingly started a war that she is bent on winning.
