The Mating Game
'The Mating Game' or as Addie calls it 'The Torture Game' - a game created purely for the amusement of the king, a game in which the male species is allowed to degrade females by treating them as prizes.
The idea of the game was first created by the king of the continent of Rayankha so that his son, HRH Prince Felipe Emir Luparé, could choose a mate from all of the well-bred beauties that society had to offer. So after the Prince's 16th birthday it was decreed that all girls from the age of 16 and above, from both well-bred and, well, not so well-bred families must sign up and take part in what was dubbed 'The Mating Game'.
Much to the horror of Addie, despite her managing to miss her 'debut' in the mating game by staying at the reform school her parents had sent her to for an extra year, there was no escaping it now she had returned home.
She could just run away but then she knew what would happen if she was caught by a band of rogues, so her only choice left is to stay and participate.
The thing is young Addie is a clever little thing and has a brilliant mind when it comes to getting out of things she doesn't want to do, and quite easily hatches a plan to get out of being mated to one of the stuck up elites of the wolf nobility.
But will the plan work, or will it backfire?
Only time will tell during 'The Mating Game'...
