Asylum X: Kyra's Story (On Hold)

Leaving your friends behind for a new school and new life can be hard. It’s even more difficult when you’re forcibly taken from your family and crammed into a school of other kidnapped children. Kyra Knightly had a near perfect life with a loving mother and father, fantastic friends and booming social life, but, after her much awaited sixteenth birthday, all of this is taken away. She is kidnapped from her hometown and brought to a secured school where she learns thousands of other kids have been taken called Asylum X. But this school is no ordinary school, and Kyra is no ordinary girl. She has a special mutation- along with every other Asylum X captive- that makes her different from everyone else. This mutation gives students super agility and stamina along with inhuman abilities, but it is no blessing. It is a curse that kills eighty percent of those who carry it. Kyra struggles to make friends, balance the school’s advanced curriculum and stay alive.
