Teenage Wasteland

This is a short story about a young girl named Mary that nobody knows by any name other than "fat" or "ugly". She's an amazing photographer and great person. She's got two friends, Brian and Emily. Brian is one of the outcasts at school. He's a hippie that is always getting detention for stirring up trouble with other students that don't understand his views on the world. Emily is a slightly chubby girl who isn't very popular. She's always there for her friends and is an amazing chef. Mary is willing to do anything to be skinny. To escape the names and cruel taunting everywhere she goes. She just wants to be pretty, which is what any girl would want but is she willing to give her life for something so vain?
