The Phoenix Games. For nine years the students of Vista Heights had this to look forward to in between homework and finals. For one girl, the prize doesn’t matter, and the challenges bore her. Until her Junior year, no one has defeated her. When the principal announces the theme of the 10th annual Phoenix Competition, her interest is sparked and she sees an opportunity to avoid what she fears the most. Tick tock, time waits for no one.
