Lacrosse Now Equals Life

When a bubbly yet awkward girl tries out for the lacrosse team for a second time, after being cut in her freshmen year, she starts changing in ways she never imagined . As she tries to balance her grades with going to practice, there are some people who do not accept the fact that she's changing . PROLOGUE: My name is Lavié Allister Hale . I am an Asian-American currently living in Georgia . Raised in Hawaii by my grandparents, taken away by my parents and moved to the mainland at age 12 . My parents were ALWAYS to busy to take care of me . I used to see them for about 5 minutes in the morning and for about an hour when they came home at night . I guess the thought of not really raising me for 12 years finally struck them, because in the summer of 2008 they told me that they got jobs.. in Georgia . " Change is good ! " " Maybe seeing a little of the country side will be good for you . " .. Just as my thoughts were being jumbled in my mind, scenario by scenario, my alarm clock began buzzing . It's 6 o' clock . The date is January 2, 2012 . It's a new semester and I plan to make the lacrosse team and change who I am .
