Top Gear Season 20 Episode 6 Presenters drove by in another chaotic stunt. Viewers who tuned in to the show saw a capsized rowing boat and overturned tables in the restaurant near Bidford-on-Avon in Warwickshire as Clarkson and fellow presenters James May and Richard Hammond giggled in the makeshift vessel. A scene from Top Gear in which a home-made hovercraft driven by Jeremy Clarkson left a trail of havoc at a peaceful riverside location was faked, it has emerged, with professional actors hired to play startled diners.

Last week's ep. Top Gear Season 20 Episode 6 of the BBC hit motoring programme showed diners at a riverside restaurant shaking their fists in anger as the Top Gear However, it turns out that the angry diners were not really enjoying a peaceful lunch along the banks of the river, but were actors directed to appear to be enjoying a meal, according to the Mail on Sunday. Actor Michael Bott, 58, who has appeared in ITV's The Bill in the past, wrote in a blog on his website how he was hired to play one of the diners. He said: "By the riverside is a very nice restaurant with windows overlooking the Avon and a decked balcony for outside dining. "I meet the very nice producer and my fellow talent for the day – two girls and a gent – all pleasant and relaxed. Chairs and tables are arranged, close to the river bank. Top Gear Season 20 Episode 6 The controversy comes several years after the BBC show was accused of faking a stunt featuring presenter May flying a caravan-style airship across Britain. He was later seen crashing to the ground, shouting "mayday, mayday" in panic after the craft was dragged across the ground. Mozaffar Shafeie has been appointed the task of dubbing Jeremy Clarkson into Farsi for the Iranian edition of Top Gear. Spare a thought for Mozaffar Shafeie, who has the invidious task of dubbing the foul-mouthed Jeremy Clarkson into Farsi for the Iranian edition of Top Gear. Happily married, bright and courteous, Mozaffar has little in common with Clarkson, but somehow manages to render phrases that he employs such as “gentleman’s sausage” and “pharoah’s dry testicles” into his native language. He talks about his plight tonight in The Fifth Floor on the BBC World Service. Clarkson is something of a come down for him. In his day, he dubbed Sir Sean Connery as James Bond. Mozaffar, by the way, smokes a mere 20 cigarettes a day, compared with Clarkson’s 60. Jeremy Clarkson apologised over Twitter yesterday after Top Gear fans had travelled to see him, but were greeted with no sign of the presenter or the Top Gear crew. Dedicated members of Top Gear's New Zealand fanbase had travelled to the remote Ninety Mile Beach to see Clarkson, and fellow presenters James May and Richard Hammond, where it was believed the trio were racing cars for the programme.
