Yes for sure. I only mean no use of copyrighted photos. You canvuse royalty free photos or ones you vhave taken yourself. OR you can create vyour own cover using your ownvdrawings or artwork. :-) hope this helps.

@Thedouglasclan - Do you have any ideas of what you'd like to see on the new cover? Also: if it is negotiated with the owner of the image(s) that they are to be legally used for the cover, is that OK?

Hey, thahnks for asking and taking a look. (laughing), you have asked the million dollar questiom. and if I had an answer - lol - I'd probably not need a competition :-)

I used a "scene' from the book when i did the first chapter. it is where EVERYTHING kind of changed for the Main Character. it is a pretty ok cover.

That said, one of the founding members of Wattpad, suggested that it was a bit 'dark' and might be scaring readers away.

So anyway, I think something inspired by the book will work best, but I am open to all suggestions.

@sydenay Thank you. there is something not quite right on the right hand side and my name is cut off - should be Doug Brownlie. great photograph though. Some of your other work is very good also :-)

Can you upload this somewhere as a jpeg. I am trying to get all of them onto one collage, so that i can distribute to judges at the end of the month. :-)
