Zombies, vampires or werewolves?

One of lifes great questions, which is superior, zombies, vampires or werewolves? And when I say vampires, I do not mean vegetarian vampires who's native desire for blood is over powered by the great power of LOVE *excuse me whilst I vomit*. I mean bloodthirsty, hideous creatures of the night! (for referance, please see 30 Days of Night. Best vampire movie I've seen). Same goes for werewolves.

For me personally, it's zombies all the way. They may not be the most badass, but I can't help fantising about zombie apocalypses.

I have a soft spot for zombies. I guess it helps that they haven't been bastardised by the teen romance genre yet.

I never really got the appeal of vampires or werewolves. They seem much like any other predator. Zombies, on the other hand, don't attack to merely feed. They just... do. En mass.

@carnageincminor Yeah, I get what you mean. I've been put off vampires and werewolves. Now everytime I watch/read something about vampires or werewolves I end up spending the whole time going "THIS is what vampires/werewolves are! Not sparkly, vegetarian *angrily mumbles* pussy *mumble mumble*

I did like vampires because of the total badass factor, and I find the thought of if a vampire wants to kill you they can and there is pretty much nothing you can do to stop it pretty terrifying. I've never been a big fan of werewolves. I mean, they are only dangerous once a month. And even then they are pretty much just bears. Kinda lame really.

I was never really into vampires, but Meyerpires definitely put me off these creatures for life. I used to like werewolves because of the pack hierarchy thing, but they got old once they became overdone in the teen genre.

I love, love, love zombie media, though. I will always be a fan of the original Resident Evil game back in 1996 (no matter how horrible the voiceovers were), and that was one of my first experiences with zombies (I was 8 years old at the time). I've loved zombie apocalypse books and movies since then.

WEREWOLVES, and not the extra lrg puppy dog eyed wolf type. I mean the huge, hulking, humanoid Van Helsing kind of wolf that'll run you down and use you as its personal doggy chew toy.

I think all of them are awesome but if I had to choose one based on horror factor, I'd have to go with zombies because they slowly eat all of your flesh off your bones and the suspense with them nearly kills me. I also love the fact that sometimes their limbs fall off and the thought of dancing with them to the Michael Jackson song "Thriller". That would be so cool.

I like werewolves, but not not in packs. Loners are more fun. :P Although, there's not much you can do with werewolves; once they have a safehouse established they're pretty much under control. As for werewolves who can turn at will? That's when it becomes more of a superpower than a once-a-month curse you can't control.

I like zombies too, but the movies are sad because you know everyone's going to die! The video games are awesome though. I can never get tired of shotgunning soulless creatures. :D

ZOOOOMBIES!!!!! Resident Evil fan rite here ;)

All the vamp/were stories on this site just make me....welll, not interested becoz some ROMANCE is going to be involved and then some other guy comes along and then there is some retarted phycho who wants to wreck things...my opinion guys. LOL, but some vamp/were stories are ok I guess, but they all end up the same :S

RESIDENT EVIL ALL THE WAY! zombies are epic, and resident evil is an amazing movie series. so since im in love wth those movies, gotta go with zombies :)

@TiffanyTews @Dee_2770 I loved the first resident evil, then it went downhill from there. I thought the second and third were crap (mystical powers alice? Really? I thought this was about zombies, not all powerful psychics), then the latest one kept alternating between being awesome and terrible.

i luv zombie movies, but since i watch 30 days of night i was like "HELL YEAH!" there is not much werewolves movies..but since i had 2 watch twilight i went down hill..i would say all 3 of them but i will go wit werewolves

@Jeshhy i totally agree i go for the vamps bt they hv to be the total badass ones nt freakin ugly sparlky ones who sound like freakin pussies all the time *coughedwardcough* but at the same time who dosent like zombies i always love imagining an apocalypse (epic) personally my favorite zombies are the ones in resident evil five. those guys where smart nt just brainless and way more deadly.

Out of the three I like vampires more and 30 days of night was epic. I don't know many zombie movies but they would be number two, because they have a pretty fierce look. I've only seen the original night of the living dead, and I am Legend (if that counts as zombies) so not an expert. Werewolves are three because most of them aren't really werewolves but say they are and it's a very confusing concept to me. I did like Rise of the lycans underworld is pretty epic too. @Jeshhy

@cherrybee365 Underworld Rise of the lycans was awesome, I forgot about that one. Their vampires didn't seem particularly strong though, or maybe it was just me. They just seemed like people who drink blood and live forever. Their werewolves were pretty cool though. Maybe that's just because Lucian was so badass. Forgive me for having a girly moment, but that movie was so romantic and tragic! And I am NOT a romantic.

If all vampires were like 30 days of night vampires, then I may have to reconsider whether I prefer zombies or vampires. Those vampires were terrifyingly awesome.
