NaNoWriMo Online Summer Camp anyone?

Is anyone doing the Summer camp? I've never done NaNoWriMo before.

I am :) First time I'm doing it too! Actually so excited for it, even if I'm not completely following the rules this time around. I started writing a novel a couple of weeks ago and I'm using Camp NaNoWriMo to finish it, so I'll have to write around 35,000 words instead of 50,000. There's no way I can do the full thing without failing finals at the end of June... But hey, at least I'm trying to finish the novel :)

What category are you entered in? Do you know what you're writing yet?

I'm joining in for both Camp June and Camp August! This is the first year for Camp Nano for me, although I've participated in NaNoWriMo for years. I'm really looking forward to completing another first draft!

Woo! I'm doing Camp NaNo as well--I tried the November one... only got about 22,000 words into it before the month ended. Really hoping I finish this year.

@mattymeetscharlie Not sure if I'm doing August yet, but if I do good in June and still have ideas for another novel, I guess I'll try :P

@BeautifullyImperfect There's no way I'd be able to write even that much in such a busy month :/ Good on you for trying!

My novel's just over 8,000 words at the moment! I actually have the first chapter up already!

Uh.. I'm about 2000 words behind at the moment. Hahaha, I've been procrastinating all day. :P But! I've got the first three chapters up and I've been working on the fourth, so that's... good? Hahaha.

I'm doing it. I'm almost done the first chapter (should get it done tonight) I've never done it before and I'm way behind. Like 7,000 words behind. I'm catching up a TON this week though. I'm writing a romance (currently have the summary and cast up) but I'm really feeling a need to do a fantasy so I'm doing August too.

I'm doing it too. I think I'm a few thousand words ahead, though. It's a lot better when I'm competing against someone I know.

@theolddarkness I know right? That or when you have a really competitive cabin like I do :P They're awesome, don't get me wrong, but we're always having "3K day!" or "Write 10K in one weekend" stuff and it really helps get a lot written.

@wildspiritontheloose Well, I know a couple of people in mine, so I get quite a bit done. I think that tonight I'm going to reach 20K, for example, mainly thanks to them.

@mattymeetscharlie Do both June and August :) It'll motivate you to write more and maybe you will get it finished!

I'm currently just over twenty thousand words. Right on track!
