How about a vampire guy thats in love with a girl that is human and he know that he can never be with her as long as he is a vampire so he goes out loooking for a cure that he has heard about to make him human again. It may sound cheesy but the Idea just came to me.

I got one.

So all vampires came from the two(male and female) original vampires. (Though the bite) and these two got "married" and had a family because they're the only vampires with a beating heart making them purebloods. Anyways hundreds of years past and Humans have grown quite efficient at hunting Vampires. They soon find out that if they get rid of the original blood line they can virtually get rid of the whole race.

The purebloods had got wind of this purge, but it was too late for most of them, so one of them took their youngest and had a witch/wizard whatever put a spell on the child (girl) and suppressing her vampiric powers, making her human until she comes of age (16-17). By then all the purebloods are gone, but the vampires are still around. So the hunters are looking for the last pureblood and the girl just so happens to go to school with the head hunter's youngest son, who actually has no idea vampires exist. I was thinking of having her change during school hours? Whatever that's as far as I got.
