@TheOrangutan That's the reason I stay away from such topics. It's disturbing on several levels, and I can't tolerate it much. I know I've played it as it happened in the past card, but most folks that experience such things don't talk about it much and have gone on past that event in their life. However the wanting to be with your sibling thing is just beyond me. I'm the eldest of my siblings and though I love them dearly that's not the proper way to ever consider someone related by blood in my opinion. |

@clowen - aye. Neither are subjects that should be made light of and I agree with you wholeheartedly. Romance is fine, but that stuff is just disturbingly wrong, but some people seem to assume it is actually romantic. There are some damn odd people on this planet... |

@Parogar - don't worry old son, I doubt you do that one again =] I just don't like seeing people get in trouble, particularly those who I do enjoy a bit of banter with, so if I can head things off before they potentially go awry then I will. |

There's a story on here (I'll avoid mention what, and by who) It's about a guy that breaks out of prison, RAPES a young boy, and then it turns into a romance between the two. Happily ever after. That's.... unbearably stupid. |

@Parogar - I met a guy who had been raped by another man once. Serious mental scars. He was quite open about it and said that if he talked about it then maybe others would too. Brave guy. His response to life was to become a superb martial artist, hard as hell. I saw him break up a fight in a Pub once, scary scary man when he was angry and much of that was the memory of the past trying to escape through anger. He contained it admirably, but by hell it was scary. |

I'm pretty conceded so I know my stories are good, and if I took the time to edit they'd be great. It's not hard to take a cliché and make it new again. |

@cherrybee365 "Conceited" definition: Excessively proud of oneself; vain. Synonyms: arrogant - vain - overweening - haughty - uppish - proud |

@vanitycat that is just wrong. XD @Parogar for some reason I think I know the exact story you're talking about... unless there's more than one. Which is very possible, because i don't remember the guy breaking out of prison. |

@Parogar -- you would be the author of this thread! ...but what do you mean I'm not a gem? I thought it was because my stories were wordy & incomplete! how dare you! |

Now, now. I didn't say all undiscovered stories weren't gems, only that not ALL discovered stories ARE gems. Because if they were, then none of them would be. If everything is great, then being great means nothing. |

If you can actually recognize that things are wrong in your story, then you're probably already better than most people on Wattpad... |

@Parogar -- haha. I am also older than most people on Wattpad ;) I like to think age grants experience and experience grants wisdom. hopefully. |
