    @JohnHStyles Woah! Did you read that? Trained by the Patrick Stewart himself! Impressive!

    @SLABFACE Shakespeare acting workshop? Patrick Stewart? King Lear? You had me until the crying. I was jealous and then....not.

    @SRae91 It was acting crying Rae, not crying in RL. The emotions have to show. SMH. I thought you knew that! :P

    @ashiqtnt I do not like tears. Fake tears, real tears--- no. Tears are for the weak. In all the acting training I have ever received I've been taught that the absence of tears is more effective than the full on onslaught of emotion. It depends on the situation of course.

    @JohnHStyles Yeah! We only get lame celebrities like Ron Paul.

    @SRae91 Ron Paul... hm, he's kinda sweet. I'd definitely - uh, wait, uh... no, wrong line. Damn it. Anyway, we didn't even get Schwarzenegger or anything.

    It was part of a Media Studies thing. He was big in RNT but his roots were in the Royal Shakespeare Company and, as far as I know, he still teaches and supports the theatre.

    @ashiqtnt Looking back, I didn't know who he was and, being (I think actually I was 16 thinking about it) I was mortified, as were we all, to be sitting awkwardly while this 60 year old guy cried and emoted all over the damn place. I just thought he was a nutball. Now I know better. Proper actors acting is a bit disconcerting when they just do it at the drop of a hat.

    @SRae91 Hmm. Women always use tears, can hardly tell the real and fake ones... Except the wife, I don't think she knows how to cry... :P

    @SLABFACE I guess I can understand the awkwardness of an old guy suddenly breaking down. I'd have been confused and scratching my head too.

    @SRae91 Ten minutes... pah. As far as I know, he could be pumping iron in my basement right now. Or in anybodies basement, for that matter...

    @SRae91 Shakespearean acting is all about going over the top. Ash is right - you should know that, you being a Shakespeare fan.

    @ashiqtnt women use tears when:

    1) They are properly upset 2) They want you to think they are properly upset 3) They want you to think that they are not upset when they are (holding back the tears expression) 4) (this one is tricky) They want you to think that they want you to think they are not upset, but they are not upset. 5) They are watching Colin Firth on TV

    @SRae91 But... Hollywood horror films? Don't go down in the basement? There's something in the basement? The light is out in the basement and there's some kind of thing living in the basement? And now we learn that Hollywood has no frickin' basements anyway??

    @SLABFACE Not joking when I say that most serial killers from my country come from the province I grew up in. I think more than 12. Which is ... much ... for such a small piece of land.
