If you like historical fiction, might I suggest "A Penny's Worth of Affection", a very good story with romance.

What do you like writing?

I'm not good at writing but it seems like romance is easy for me to write. So it would probably be romance. You?

Well I generally don't lean towards one genre...couldn't write psychological/thriller...nope. But right now, my story published is my first attempt at writing romance. I'm not exactly a romantic person but I'm trying, I see it as a challenge.

Yeah thats cool. I know when some people write they just put there imaginations down and sometimes those are good but not all the time

If there's any advice from me, it's not to take too long of a break from it. I tried putting off writing for a few months and when I got back I was totally confused as to what I should do :C

I've never really tried writing a romance story (I've actually had a pretty big aversion to it before); anything I might want to know?

Yeah. If i start something I try and work on until I'm done unless I give up but I try not to give up on anything

Oh sorry about that, I was busy writing but people are very nice here. They offer help, suggestions, etc. I already made a bunch of new friends :)

And your story wasn't too bad. That's good to do, never give up on things :)

The one about the Nun and the chair. I did laugh a little. Improvement is always nice, but believe me it's better than a good percentage of the stuff I read.

@Gumdrop09 I'm kind of an interesting case; I actually hate reading, but writing is a whole 'nother story. I tend to delve into modern-fiction with an occasional supernatural twist. I like to have conflict in my stories so happy endings are rare and there's always some kind of tension going on.
