What makes me laugh....

What makes me laugh is the number of people that the Christian God has killed compared to the number that Satan has killed. Give me your opinion please.

God: 2,476,633 (numbered kills), 25 million (estimated)

    VS

Satan: 10 (numbered kills), 60 (estimated).

    Yeah.....nice logic there.....

How much sh!t am I going to get for this? Trust me I mean no offence.....

@NobleWolf What do you want to say with this? That god's evil or something? That's not the point! He's got a higher killcount, that's why god's worshiped rather than Stan... Satan? What was the name of that other guy again? Oh - I forgot, because he's got no mentionable killcount....

I'm saying that while the Bible forbids killing, God has killed millions himself. @JohnHStyles

God does not kill people. He allows them to die, because it's all part of His plan. Satan does not kill people, he does not have the authority. Only God can allow death. @NobleWolf

@ShatteredPromises well said. i totally agree...when our bodies die, our spirits will go to Heaven where we will be able to live the rest of eternity with our almighty Father and Jesus and all our brothers and sisters in Christ.

@NobleWolf Obviously God is more badass, and that's why everyone supports him. He's like, "I don't like you! Off with your head!"

I was just wondering where you got your statistics from? Is there any proof that God killed them? Did He sign his name? I don't think so. Everyone dies eventually, so are you going to blame God for that? Oh wait, that was Adam and Eve's fault for death, so why blame God?

@ImnotamodelImjusthot yeah, it's interesting...people tend to get upset at god for all of the bad things that he allowed to happen, and forget to praise him for the good things that happen...

God dose not kill anyone, he allows death to come upon us. And it's not part of his plan for ANY of us to die. Sorry @ShatteredPromises but I don't believe it's God's plan for his children to die, there's nothing in the Bible that says that

Satin kills, steals, and destroys. Anything and everything bad is from him, he is the master of trickery and deception. He is very crafty, but he is the one who kills, not God.

Oh... Yeah well, Satan doesn't have power over death actually... God is the giver of life and has power over death. God allows people to die and suffer for a reason plus, it's kinda our fault that we die because the wages of sin is death. For example, when Job's family was taken away from him, it was because God allowed it to happen for Job to be stronger and have greater faith in Him. @Stellar101

There is a lot of controversy in the body of Christ over this issue. When the bible says that God will put sickness and death upon the Egyptians...the Hebrew scriptures, actually use a permissive verb rather than a causative verb. If God kills people then He is killing His own creation. The bible shows me that God “allows” sickness & death because of our confessions & our actions against God. The book of Job is the oldest book in the bible. We don’t know much about it. It certainty cant be written under any specific covenant with God. Job was not part of Abrahams covenant nor was he under the covenant with Moses.

The bible is clear that Satan kills, steals & destroys whereas, God provides us with life and life more abundantly. God is our father and a father who is loving doesn’t pick and choose which child will live and which will die but He did give us authority. He did give us His word. If we follow after Him...we will have His protection.

Cont> Because of the sin in the world…the earth travails and people die. God does not send hurricanes and natural disasters to kill people either. Insurance companies call natural disasters “an act of God.” But they are not. Jesus calmed the stormy weather. He wouldn’t have done that if God had caused the storm in the first place. (Jesus would never go against His Father.) Jesus healed the sick…he wouldn’t do that if God put sickness upon people (again Jesus would not work against his Father’s will.) Jesus raised the dead…He only could do that if it were His Father’s will. I can only read in one place where Jesus allowed Satan to enter one man (Judas) to accomplish & fulfill prophecy. I do not believe that God “willed” Judas to die. Jesus was grieved over the situation but Judas (who was Jesus’ treasurer) stole from Jesus’ ministry and turned Jesus in for 30 pieces of silver (which was the current price of a common slave.) Judas walked with God for 3 years and fully knew better…he chose evil & God allowed him to suffer his chosen fate.

We have choices too. We can join to fight in a war, join a gang or live life recklessly. There is nothing funny about death. God is LOVE. He does not kill. He warns us about pending doom because He wants us to accept His protection. He has created a safe road for all of us to travel on and when this age comes to a close…many of us will not experience death but be translated. Those who (like Judas) refuse God will earn their own fate. I pray that you all are translated.

"Go up, my warriors, against the land of Merathaim and against the people of Pekod. Yes, march against Babylon, the land of rebels, a land that I will judge! Pursue, kill, and completely destroy them, as I have commanded you," says the LORD. "Let the battle cry be heard in the land, a shout of great destruction". (Jeremiah 50:21-22 NLT)

What about when he wiped out every human on earth during the great flood, saving only Noah and his family? What about the times that 'God' has ordered people to kill innocent people? @ImnotamodelImjusthot

This is what the Lord of hosts has to say: 'I will punish what Amalek did to Israel when he barred his way as he was coming up from Egypt. Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has under the ban. Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and asses.' (1 Samuel 15:2-3 NAB)

While the Israelites were camped at Acacia, some of the men defiled themselves by sleeping with the local Moabite women. These women invited them to attend sacrifices to their gods, and soon the Israelites were feasting with them and worshiping the gods of Moab. Before long Israel was joining in the worship of Baal of Peor, causing the LORD's anger to blaze against his people. The LORD issued the following command to Moses: "Seize all the ringleaders and execute them before the LORD in broad daylight, so his fierce anger will turn away from the people of Israel." So Moses ordered Israel's judges to execute everyone who had joined in worshiping Baal of Peor. Just then one of the Israelite men brought a Midianite woman into the camp, right before the eyes of Moses and all the people, as they were weeping at the entrance of the Tabernacle. When Phinehas son of Eleazar and grandson of Aaron the priest saw this, he jumped up and left the assembly. Then he took a spear and rushed after the man into his tent. Phinehas thrust the spear all the way through the man's body and into the woman's stomach. So the plague against the Israelites was stopped, but not before 24,000 people had died. (Numbers 25:1-9 NLT)
