@Sierra256715 ~~~ Well, keep your faith. Like I said, God won't do everything for you. He helps you and you won't even know it until later. Too focused on reality and not looking deep enough =P You have to work for it, like everyone else. And it's face-slapping simple. If you don't believe and you've abandoned him, well he abandons you too. Blasphemy. |

Shame god isn't actually there then! I haven't abandoned him because it is impossible to abandon something which doesn't exist. I've tried plenty but I suppose its a shame that there is no water in the well. :P @Zachrock |

Atheism denies a divinity; Christianity thinks it knows what this divinity is. Both of these beliefs are subject to being misleading and deceitful. A downplay and a blockage to humanities ability to understand who it is we are, where we come from and how we fit into the scheme of all. We are all divine, we are all sacred. We don’t need religion, but we don’t need to shut down our potential by denying our own innate divinity and desire to love and be loved. |

Of course there is no way to prove a theory, though every logical being excepts it anyway as truth. At least there is sense in the big bang theory, none of which I believe exists in Christianity or religion itself. I have a question for you, how can the world be only 6,000 years old? (That figure is according to the Bible, and may be off by a decade.) If this is true, (assuming it is, as you say, the word of God) then Aboriginal Australians could never have migrated from Africa (Aboriginals are a 40,000 [approx] year old race), the Earth would never have been hit by a meteorite, and dinosaurs never existed. @cats3580 |

Sorry, but I have one more question: do you believe that there is a possibility that there is no god or the one 'true' god is actually, perhaps a Hindu one? Or are you positive on your God? @Zachrock |

@Sierra256715 I know my God is real, and that's that. |

You don't know because you cannot prove it. I do not know that God doesn't exist. We believe. @cats3580 |

@Sierra256715 ~~ That was a waste there. I'm christian so why would I think God is hindu? There is one God, our God. |

Not to mention that with radiometric dating, we have discovered the earth to be 4.6-4.8 billion years old. |

@Phantasy that was really interesting about the age of the Earth |

@Phantasy ~~~~ Humph. All that measuring and extrapalating the earth's age and all this other stuff WAY back in history all comes down to what you believe in. It isn't even fully accurate, there's no possible way to get an exact age, plus, no proof. That is interesting though. I do find it all neat =P |

It's around there, but I think it's cool that we even have an idea of how old the earth is. And there is proof. Radiometric dating uses the half-lives of radioactive isotopes to measure how old the earth is. A half-life is half the time taken by a radioactive element to decay (become another element/become more stable/become less or not radioactive) ; e.g. You have 100 g of an element with a half-life of 5 days, after 5 days, it's only 50 g of that element, and after another 5, it's 25 g, and so on. By graphing this development onto a 'per cent of the remaining original element vs. time' line graph, scientist are able to quite accurately "estimate" how old the earth is. I'm not sure but we might Uranium-238/Lead- 206 or Rubidium-87/Srontium-87 to date the earth. If you've heard of carbon dating, it's the same thing, except with Carbon-14. It's quite useful when trying to find the age of stuff. |

and? I'm just saying that the Biblical age for the Earth is unreasonable. @Phantasy |

@TheLocalGuerilla Ok, if Christians are so bent on making up “stories” just to “scare” (non Christians) into joining our so-called “religion” and the One World Order is nothing to fear. Then what is there for us (Christians) to gain by doing so? Our only attempt to open your eyes is because I (we) care about you. We try to show you love and truth of Gods word but you scoff at that… so, I also try to show you what life will be like without God in the near future. About a year ago my Pastor asked a question to his congregation; He asked “How many of you came to Jesus because of the LOVE of God?” Well, just about every hand in the room was raised. Then he asked “How many of you came to Jesus because of the fear of death?” Very few hands were raised. I will never forget this question because it shows me that most people choose God (through Jesus) because of the LOVE he offers. His power to protect & heal is all part of His LOVE. But there are a few who chose God because they lived with fear…the fear of death (without Him.) When I see people here confess, there is no God and Christianity is just a myth, it causes me concern because I know, that WE are governed by our “confessions.” I would rather that people who don’t believe in God would remain silent for THIER own sake…otherwise they condemn themselves. However, on the other hand I think that most so-called “atheist” are actually “seekers.” And for those seeking…I would hope that they may find what they are looking for. LOVE! God is LOVE. There is a lot “in this world” to fear. Please watch this film “Exposing the Satanic Empire.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2kRRUP6f5s&feature=autoplay&list=PL025402E2609FE563&playnext=9 |

@Hardy_Boyz Satan can only exist if you believe a god battling Satan exists. Love is within everyone, with or without an invisible Jesus friend. Good-Evil/Positive-Negative/Love-Fear are all dualities that exist on this plain, both have a purpose both are a necessary part of divinity and they are intricately an aspect of all. I would rather people who believe in outside man gods would remain silent for THE SAKE of others true divinity within... |

@Hardy_Boyz I don't need you to open my eyes, I'm not a lame man. Neither I do need the love of your god and I am pleased with my godless future. Your attempts to convert me are pointless, you're only wasting your time with it. |
