I have not failed, I have successfully proven that these _____ ways will not work. It's a blank because it can be any number. :) |

This is one I use when people tease me for being a writer: 'Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality.' Jules de Gaultier |

I have a ton of favorite quotes! The ones that come to mind are "There is a fine line between genius and insanity, I have erased this line."- Oscar Levant “I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”- Albert Einstein |

@rugrats "Am I a man dreaming I am a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming I am a man?" Quoted by my psychology professor on my first lecture. I've remembered it since. |

Mine is not exactly a quote, but more of a philosophy idea. "Doubt is not a pleasant feeling, but certainty is absurd." |

@NingYue Ah, I did that for a bit in philosophy. Dropped out before I could dig deeper. |

@I_Am_Kibo Oh I see, then I wonder if death means we are waking up from the dreams we've had. So any reason why you dropped out of philosophy? Sorry if I am been too personal (I've never had the chance of studying philosophy) |

@NingYue Well, I started psychology and I'd that for a year and a half, but I found it too, personal, I suppose you could say. So I dropped out. I the.n moved on to history and philosophy, double major, but half way through my mate comes and ask if I want to go backpacking across the globe, and since I wasn't that into my subjects I said yes. The thing about philosophy is that you have to have an open minded professor. I got stuck with a narrow minded one. |

""Hope" is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all." Emily Dickinson is literally great. |

@I_Am_Kibo I see how that's not a good idea. I'm lucky since my high school English teacher talks about philosophy all the time. Though it's a pity that I am not doing it at this point of time. |

@NingYue Philosophy is a great subject, but like I said, it requires an open mind and a lot of thought. My English teachers were all racist bastards. @Ceremonials I agree, one of the best literature authors of all time. |

@I_Am_Kibo Yeah. Her poetry is something that I find inspirational. It's sad how most of the great writers are pretty much all dead now. |

It's a pity, isn't it? Perhaps coming from a multicultural country had made me to be rather open-minded about the things in the world. I mean, don't get me wrong, there are still racist bastards around, but the majority of us are sensitive about such issues. |

@Ceremonials I know. My father believes only death an bring fame. @NingYue I am Aussie, supposedly the most multi cultural country on the planet. But there are so many racist here. It's unbelievable. Where are you from? |
