And I do believe the angry men and trolls have scared the rest of the teenaged girlies from the Horror club. *waves*

Have fun in your dark, scary, ominous, *insert long string of descriptions here* echo filled cavern, boys.

@dreamingthought that was my plan. The teenaged girlies can keep the romance club, the werewolf club, and the vampire club. They can even take teen fiction, if they'd like, but horror belongs to US! Not THEM. US!

@dreamingthought @DanGil I think the teenagers are welcome, as long as they're prepared to write well educated horror. As for the rest of them, they might as well be scared off.

@DanGil I resent that! I happen to be a teenage girl! I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU! And I hate teen fiction, vampire and werewolf.

I'm totally kidding, most of the teenagers on this site are annoying anyway. You are very correct and great at ranting.

@Lost_In_A_Dream You are not a teenage girl. You may be a girl, and you may be of teen age, but you are wise beyond your years. This has earned you the highly respected title of "young woman". Go forth, and hold your head high, for you are among the few who will conquer the tragedy, in the name of the -

oh crap, I nearly ended up writing another entry for God Amongst Rats XD

@DanGil lol. While I totally get your angst, perhaps a better route would be to try and educate those interested in the genre.

Believe me, it annoys me that people around wattpad don't read. I don't care for teen fics, or romance. But there might be some potentially good authors around here that really do want some pointers that might be intimidated by rants.

I know, I'm a sad insecure little person, but I read this and that messed up little voice in my head starts saying:

"Oh shit. At least one of my pathetic attempts at horror had romance in it, or at least a hint of it... and it's popular. I bet they're talking about me. I should probably switch genres because I'm not welcome here."

Perhaps its my insecurities speaking, but there is something of an elitist feel to me, to what people say is good enough to be considered horror. Yet it is such a subjective genre.

Dont' get me wrong, other genres have that elitist notion too, like folks who think the only real fantasy is epic or high fantasy. *Shrugs* Just saying. Loosen up, maybe we can can convert some people to the dark side rather than saying "Get out! This is MINE!"

@dreamingthought what? why would I want them? and no, I most certainly wasn't talking about you. I did say that horror-romances have been done, even sometimes well, as long as the romance isn't the big focus of the horror. Because when romance is more important than horror, it isn't horror anymore. It's romance. Does that make any sense at all?

@DanGil Thanks. Here's my (stupid and made-up) book.

The sad thing is that there is probably a book like this on this site.

@DanGil - lol, yes it does. ^_^ Just to clarify. I don't take offense to what you're saying. And I got where you were coming from. I'm playing a bit of devils advocate here.

All I'm saying is that I'm fairly sure I'm not the only one who sees a rant like this and gets all paranoid and wants to go cry in a corner because they're not good enough.

You know, hormones and all... some of us are just wired that way.

@Lost_In_A_Dream - lol, exactly. Love the Tee shirt.
