@JohnMurrayMcKay Bro, I have read the first three chapters of your story and I have to say, it is definitely not ready to be published. The language is pretty simple and the sentence structure is limited and doesn't very too much. WIth that already making it a little boring to read, your characters don't help your case. I know nothing about them and they are pretty flat and kind of dumb. Try making them more relatable and deep, then improve the plot. Really, what you should do first is improve your writing skill, then go back and continue your story.

Don't go insulting people when they don't like your story. They aren't the idiots for not thinking your story is perfect, you are the one who is ignorant for closing your mind and your ears to helpful advice. They didn't even attack you, they merely pointed out flaws and offered solutions. You should have been grateful they took the effort to help you instead of ignoring you.

You will not last long in the writing world with the attitude you possess. Smarten up or you may as well give up.

When giving criticism, be thoughtful of how a writers feels and be helpful.

When recieveing it, understand that another's point of view is always good, and that unless they're directly insulting you, no-one is out to get you.

I laughed uproariously at your remark. Truth be told, I don't care if it was rude, it was blunt and honest.

I fear a day will come when no one leaves honest feedback anymore, because they fear getting called an idiot. I think it's important that people understand that calling someone on "idiot" is NOT acceptable, and that clearly the Wattpad writing community values people like @ctyolene and everything she does for us. And that we DO NOT think she is an "idiot" simply because she leaves blunt, honest feedback WHEN REQUESTED.
