@JamesDSwinney I'm about 80k into The Zombie Prophecies and still with more to come.

I find the best thing to do while writing a novel is to power through the plot, then go back through it and add descriptions and back stories and such, beef it up so to speak. Good way of adding a couple (tens of thousands) of words while the process also allows you to fix any inconsistencies you may not have noticed the first time around.

I think my downfall may have been just writing a story about pirates and throwing in a space ship. Didn't research the genre at all. But oh well, what's done is done.

I like the lack of specificity toward required genre in this smack down, makes it a little easier for sure.

I was incapacitated yesterday because of some musical on youtube. After two goes it got stuck in my head and every time I tried to type I was writing in song.

Amusing at first, then not so much. It was full of dragons so I consider it research.

But I tried again today and all was well.

@JamesDSwinney I have an outline I wrote today in class... I didn't have the pictures for reference so I only knew I included three of them for sure. I just checked though and figured out how to incorporate a fourth though so it's all good =)

@sigrist I'm posting as soon as I finish. Now, whether that's in two days or an hour before the deadline is debatable...
