Some questions answered.

Q: So the point you're trying to make is that there can't be only one God?

A: My point is there is no “one god.”

Q: Why does God need to have a gender/charge? Why can't God be neutral? So all-purposed?

A: That’s kind of the point I’m getting at.

Q The purpose, in my opinion, is to show you that what you believe is well and good, but it doesn't mean you are right. There is proof on both sides of the argument that God does or does not exist, and the argument really doesn't matter. Who do you think you're convincing?

A: Not you obviously. Proof that god exists outside of biblical myth please anyone.

I should probably just stay quiet, but it amazes me how people always threaten "non-believers" with Judgement Day to try to get them to accept their one god. I saw that done in this thread.

It doesn't do anything to us on the receiving end. Just makes you look like a petty, over-religious fool. Plus, if you're afraid of your god and think he's going to do horrible things to you if you aren't . . . that's not exactly a healthy way of thinking. I mean, maybe my religion could be called a masochist's, but it seems stupid to fear someone that's supposed to do so much good for you.

Ppl fear him and love him at the same time. Love God for what he has given you and the reward that will follow when u die. Fear God if you know you are abusing his gift and know their will be consequences. That's the concept. Get it? @ItalieMalie

@ReaperKylie Believe me, I get it. I grew up a Christian and never liked the practice or the way God-belief works. I don't understand why everything is, "if you do this wrong, you're going to hell!" and "if you do this, God hates you!" It's why I love my religion so much. You don't have to please anyone or beat yourself up over things you do wrong. I know so many God-believers that are either so absorbed in their faith that they're zombies or they tear themselves up because they think they aren't good enough. That's not healthy. I know I'm not reaching Nirvana in this lifetime (though I plan on a pilgrimage to the Bodhi Tree before I get too old) but I know by my next life I'll have learned things and become a better person. And I love that that's all I have to worry about. I never understood the constant need to please God. You can be a good person and have a good afterlife without going to church/synagogue/mosque and including him in everything you do. You are a person without your god.

I respect all religions (I have Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and atheist friends) but God just isn't the philosophy for me. :)

I personally believe God doesn't hate anyone and that most ppl interpret the way God feels a lot. He is almost like a parent who just witness his child steal. He'll be mad at you. He'll be sad.... but he'll never hate you.

And I'm the same. I respect all beliefs. I just hate it when ppl go out of control over it. And Yh sure. U can be human without God but still if it weren't for him. I would have probably never existed. @ItalieMalie

@ReaperKylie Technically, it's without your parents' copulation that you wouldn't have existed. But I see your point. And interesting belief. Varies from the usual one.

I hate when people shove their beliefs down your throat too. I was abused by the Catholic school I attended in my early school years because I wasn't Catholic, then I always had people trying to force their religion on me when I was agnostic. It's one reason I've always been glad for Buddhism. It gives me a defined religion I really do believe in, and it keeps people off my back because most people respect Buddhism enough. Our 8 Noble Truths are pretty similar to the Ten Commandments, just without the aspect of divinity; when I bring that up, some will back off. We're pretty laid-back about it though. Just be a good person and you're higher up in your next life. And it's helped me learn to ignore bigots.

I converted to Islam because I believed the Christian religion was really corrupted and forceful. As a Muslim, I feel the world makes more sense and its not as forceful. Actually, Islam is really peaceful but the media likes to make it look terrible and people just like to create problems for us. And I really respect the Buddhist. They are really peaceful. I wish the rest of the world was the same. @ItalieMalie

@ReaperKylie I actually respect Islam more than Christianity. I know it's not as violent and suppressing as the media makes it seem (it bothers me that people could want to make a religion look like that - it just creates hatred without reason), and like you said, it's not as corrupted and forceful. It's not as hypocritical either, and I feel like it lets you be your own person more than Christianity does. Same with Judaism.

And ack, yes. I wish the world could finally see that every person has worth, no matter what religion or sexuality or culture they are. That's another reason I love Buddhism, the fact that we're so relaxed about that thing and accept everyone. I just wish everyone would come to an understanding and try to build on the idea of peace. Everyone says it's the way to go, and it is, but I feel like no one really tries to achieve it.

Proof “god” doesn’t exist part V.

I’m smarter than “God”! ...and I’m not that smart.

If I was god, I’m male so that’s a good start for a deity, I wouldn’t burn anyone in hell for ever, I’d have somewhere for them to be rehabilitated.

I wouldn’t have had to of wiped out world populations in a flood, or destroyed cities or turned people into salt because I would make the world like a huge festival where drugs enhanced your being, no food was bad for you and love reigned supreme.

I would appear in everyone’s dream simultaneously; three times a year on specific dates so everyone would know that I was god and there would be no wars or stuff because everyone would agree.

You can’t die until your one hundred and Just before anyone dies they smile brightly and say “It's beautiful!”, then your grandparant becomes reborn as your grand kid with full knowledge of their previous life.

You can only give birth twice, one of each at 28 and 30. Sex is fun and not dirty and boobs never sag...

You can explain all you want about why you don't believe in God, but I cant sit here and watch you talk your DISGUSTING mouth about how you are smarter than him and degrade him. First off, toy cling to life too much. I believe life is just a test and isn't as important as the afterlife because that's where it matters. Second, its impossible to have world peace when humans love to create drama... like u for example. If you tell the whole world that your mission is to destroy religion, you'll just cause another war probably.... maybe one of the deadliest. And YOU would be he cause of this war. Not Allah! Whether you like it or not, you cant have too much goodness. That's not how society works. With all the hardships humans have faced, ppl have learner from them and become better. OK... Let’s get some love into this thing before we have some Jihad or something.

Nature is a natural energy, the positive and negative working together beautifully to neutral effect. We come along, the I Am, the silent witness, that part of us that remembers. We are in our earth suits, infants, toddler, tween, teen, adult old. During this passage of time all we experience is within us.

I do see value in spiritual writings and the bible myth and do listen to things from it like: The kingdom of god is within you (Luke 17-21) “I will prove to you then that the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sin.” Mark 2-10. (Hey...I’m the son of man, Sheesh... So are you!) And most importantly that “God”, "I Am” is not the I Am of the dead but of the living.

These all speak of a divinity within and in fact all we have is our divinity within. All we have is this moment, this sacred moment. If we don’t embrace the now with love, passion and humour then we are not fully opening up to our true selves and our ability to be truly happy with ourselves, with our I Am.

(continued) I am not against anyone’s faith. I think all people’s beliefs are cool and that they are completely individual to the individual. But if someone said to me that they believe in an invisible unicorn as the all pervasive divinity my reply would be the same as it is to someone telling the world that a man god is the all pervasive divinity. We truly need to embrace the fact that we are all deities, that our lives are incredibly important and individual and that only we experience what it is we do.

All spiritual writing should be read as an inner map to our higher reality. We are the absolute divine, what religion could ever be made that could praise the higher embodiment of every individual on the planet. The answer, none. We alone must worship our lives in the moment as I Am, keep the temple within alive with lots of tithings and offerings, try not to hurt anyone and live life with a blossoming of love but always, always be willing to forgive yourself for then you can love others.
