Doctor Who Lovers Welcome :D

Hi everyone, I'm Star_Lover27. I'm a massive Doctor Who fan. I would like to here all your stories about how you came to watch Doctor Who. What makes you love it soo much. If you want to say your favourite moments, series, doctor and companion go ahead. I'd also like to know how much Doctor Who related stuff you have as well. I just want this to be a place to talk about something we all love. So no dising anyone's opinion. You can say your opinion of Doctor Who if you don't like it but please say why. :) I hope you all enjoy using this thread. I'll try to be involved as much as possible.:) Love Star_Lover27

@TheLocalGuerilla I see nothing wrong with making another topic about Doctor Who. So I don't know why you do. As I said above if you have a problem with there being another topic about Doctor Who than just don't enter it. I made this discussion so that people who love Doctor Who can talk about it with me. I don't care if there are already other ones out there. Frankly at the moment this dicussion has nothing to do with Doctor Who.

well...I got to watch all the David Tennant's episodes of Doctor Who on BBC three, and I fell in love with the Doctor C: I do have a story about Doctor Who, but this isn't a share your story club so I'm not telling! Does anyone have a fave episode or monster??

I love Weeping Angels, Vashta Nerada, the Silence, and all their episodes, and Midnight, and almost every Matt Smith episode :)) I heart Matt Smith

I shall date myself, but I don't care. :)

I came to DW when the Tom Baker episodes for came to the US in the early 80s. I liked him, but I liked Peter Davison's era more. Lots of drama and darkness. I've seen most of the Doctors, tho' not as much of the new stuff as I'd like. I wish more Troughton eps had survived (2nd Doctor). Matt Smith's Doctor has some similarities to Troughton.

A couple of my pieces were influenced by Who too...

I'm part of a Who group in the Wichita area. There are meetings about once a month. Classic episodes are usually the ones shown. To anyone else who joins in, I hope there's an active group near you.

@frickinawesomeno1 Cool! I may go onto your profile and look at your story anyways ;). David Tennant was an amazing actor and a great Doctor. I loved watching all his episodes. Although the last ones started to get quite depressing. That's why it was really good when Matt Smith came along because he was a lot more happy and slightly more crazy. :D

I don't actually have a favourite episode as there are soo many and they're all so fantastic.

My favourite monsters though.... ummm I would have to say the Daleks, Weeping Angels and the Silence. The daleks are just like the icon of Doctor Who and everybody knows what a Dalek is. The weeping angels are absolutely terrifying. Steven Moffatt did an excellent job of terrifying me. Lol. And the silence are just creepy and they're like continued through quite a few episodes in the series. This message is really long sorry hahahaha. :D

@RobertLCollins It's soo cool that you grew up with the old Doctors. I wish I could have. I've only recently started watching so I haven't had the experience of seeing all the doctors before the 9th Doctor. My sister has sent me the very very first series for me to watch. It's so funny to watch it in black and white. I actually thought the acting would be really bad from past experiences with watching old shows with my Dad. But it was actually pretty good :D.

Hahaha i have a Who story soo Gooo Fanfictions!!!!! Lol. I might go have a look at them soon :D

You are soooo lucky you have a group to go to!! I wish I could do that. All my friends have barely watched Doctor Who so I'm glad I have people to talk about Who with now. My favourite ere/doctor is the most recent ones with Matt Smith. I don't want him to leave he's too good. As many people say he really does have that old eyes young face thing.

@lovelyme231 OMg Lol I said that when i joined another Doctor Who conversation lol. I love that saying!!! I tried to convince my friend to go and say that to her crush and his friends.. she though it was creepy though lool. P.S.- Bowties, fezzes and stetsons are cool :D:D:D:D

I don't think that it's possible to have a favorite episode, but one of my tops is definitly when the ninth doctor (christopher eccelson) goes to 1940's Europe during WW2 and the people with the gas-mask faces are chasing him....

@mcdynamite Ohhh the one where the gas mask people are like "are you my mummy?" That was ssooo freaky.. I actually don't really have a favourite episode either as there are sooo many fantastic ones to chose one. i just like the entire Doctor Who T.V show!! :D:D

I think every doctor has been great, but david tenannt will always stick out for me :) I still can't watch those last episodes with rose when he strokes the wall... :'( Blink, Midnight and the Shadows in the Library would be my favourites :)

Hiya, Daivd Tenannt was a great Doctor the one that got me into Doctor Who and when he left i was like ''no no the next Doctor will not be good'' and then i watched i was like OMG he is frikin amazing i want MORE, and my faviroute episode's have to be Last of the Time Lord's and with 11th Doctor has to be Big Bang 2, and The Loger.

Lol. When I first started watching Doctor who, I didn't actually like it because it looked boring. I'm British and we don't do much that is actually good.

Mom and dad made me watch it a few more episodes and that was it I was hooked.

David tenants death always makes me cry, especially when he's sitting in the cafe with Wilfred talking about being old.

Matt Smit - I was probably like you Rosiee. Lol, I thought he had a lot to live up too and that he would never do it ... BUT I WAS WRONG.

I can't choose which ones are my favourites, but the weeping angels are definatly scary :D

So I started writing my own who Fic - which I've put online starting with Matt Smith's beginning. I gave the Doctor a daughter, thinking what if he had a daughter and not a companion. :D

I love Doctor Who :D

@Nonja18 @NyraXx Hey, i cried when David Tennant left and my brother looked at me as if i was crazy and i agree Matt Smith is very cute. I agree with you Nonja i love Wilfred he was the cool old (humam) man on Doctor who and i was sad too when they was talking in the cafe. And i'm sorry but my fav villian on Doctor Who has to be the badass Daleks, they are the Doctor's oldest foe and they just won't DIE..(sorry for the outburst)
