Hey guys. I've been making trailers since the start here on Wattpad and I just made my 219 one. And it was really hard in the beginning and it would of been nice if I had some help. So now i'm offering it to other trailer makers! I'll watch trailers you've made, give you editing advice and some tips. Also any questions you have i'll try to answer. Don't be shy! Oh and no strings attached or anything. So get posting my darlings!

@brookieismyname Hi (: I've made a few trailers, and I'm working on one now (once I get ungrounded from my computer--ugh :P ) but I've always struggled with finding good clips and all that. I just don't know where to look and I don't like downloading from youtube because I'm afraid of getting viruses. Help? (: thanks so much!

I use two websites that do not give virus. 1) Keepvid.com 2) saveyoutube.com

You can only use YouTube for those. You can use this 1) Xilisoft YouTube Converter that has to be downloaded

or use ZD screen software You download it to but it's great and I loved it!

@LaptopFace If you want to post one from youtube then just follow these guidelines: If you look underneath the video on YouTube and click share. Instead of copying the code for the video, click embred and you will see a code. Click the box marked Old code above the code in the box and then copy and paste the code into a thread. Then there you go! :D

@brookieismyname This first one isn't very good cause the person didn't give me much info, so you don't have to give advice if you don't want. I just thought I'd show an example of one of the first trailers I made:

This one was after the above, but in comparison is much better (in my opinion):

And this was the latest one I made. The actors aren't consistent though cause the person I did it for didn't have a cast:

So I'd appreciate it if you told me how to improve. Thank you :)

First one tips: The beggning was good, the whole ice skating scene. The length of it was questionable to me but that certain clip could be any length you want, that's your choice. I see you use movie maker too, good(: Now my first tip 1) Always use titles. Captions take away from the clips because there trying to watch the clip and read it. So do title than clips 2) When doing titles try to avoid the ... 3) Try to avoid pictures, but if you do use them don't put them on to long and watch out for pictures with the words on them 4) When saying author and who made the video, cut that down to one slide about 7 seconds long 5) Don't credit where you got the clips in the video (do that in the description) same for the song 6) Dont put thanks for watching 7) Try fading out your music

Overall: Good for your first time! The clips were a little to long and maybe next time try using clips of her off the ice too. But I liked the use of clips and the only on wattpad at the end! Onto the next one

@ilovesothe All the same tips for the second one and some additon - Add more to Kendra, all we know is her name basically - The one scene where the dudes being shot. Try cutting that, it was a little to bloody for some peoples likings - Avoid transitions, they just take away from the video

Nice choice in music though!

@ilovesothe All the same tips for the first one and some addition - It was confusing as to who Tiffany and Jared were because you showed mulitple different people. When doing other scenes from other movies with different actors avoid faces - Transitions (descrption above)

Besides that it was really good!

@brookieismyname Oh okay then. Sorry I didn't know, most people use the original. I have a question about what you said about the do titles then clips? How do you put a title before a clip in Live? I'm having a hard time with that.

oh and just so you know, I do fad my music. I faded the song in all of those trailers.

I use YouTube clips. It's hard to find exactly what you have in mind sometimes but the fan videos on YouTube help a lot, also use trailers.

Trailer ----- 1) Avoid fancy fonts, for some viewers it's very difficult to read. I was having trouble with it myself. 2) I'm not a picture person but the way you used pictures was awesome! 3) When you use clips, if you do, do not do captions. Only titles (I can see your using movie maker)

So check that out if you want to see a video with clips and pictures, this was one of my first's so I did use captions, avoid those
