Wattpad Fantasy Magazine - Wrapping up Issue One - Will start on Summer issue soon.

This would be a quarterly project. I have no immediate start date for it, it is more an idea than anything else at the moment.

I would like to focus on several things in this Magazine:

Different genres and subgenres in speculative fiction/and or Fantasy.

World Building

Discussions/articles on great authors who have paved the way,

How to create your own niche in the Fantasy Genre - what is over done, cliche and what is actually archetype and if done well, can be repeated.

Reviews of Wattpad fantasy novels

Reviews of Wattpad fantasy short stories

Interviews with Wattpad authors

Listings of helpful sites, profiles, books, etc.

OH! And to steal a fabulous idea from the horror mag, perhaps someone could put on a mini-contest each issue.

@Dark_Dimensions and @ForbiddenPlanet are much of the inspiration for this account and this project. Check them out.

In my mind, the first issue would be a general introduction to what IS fantasy and or Speculative Fiction

Afterwards, I'd like to focus on different themes or areas of fantasy. High fantasy, Modern fantasy, mythos style fantasy, etc.

Anyone have any suggestions, input, questions, or would like to volunteer?

And a final note. I will be moving in the next few months, so my life will be come quite hectic for a while. This project might get dropped for a bit, but I do rather like organizing things, so I'll get back to it as soon as I can.

@musicalsweets - If you'd like to come up with a Wattpad book or two to review, that'd be fabulous.

@Crimson613 - A list of sites and profiles that helpful for writing fantasy would be great. Maybe just one or two sites that focus on Fantasy writing in general and a brief explanation of them or a review of why to visit them for help would be great.

@BoyToy4Cato - Do you have a contest idea in mind?

I'll have to get back to everyone else this weekend. I'm a little swamped at the moment. but I'll come up with a deadline, jobs for each voluteer and such for this first edition. ^_^
