ADVICE FOR ALL NEW WATTPADERS

erm.. Sorry but is there any way to know if your story is added into the reading list of someones profile? :)

@SarahLee3 Yes. You click on the WATTPAD sign thing in the top left hand corner of this site. You scroll down to where it has two options, My News, and News Feed. Click on My News. Scroll down and if someone did that it will show up. But, it's by date, so if someone added your story to their reading list two months ago, it will take you foreverto find it. This is the only way I know of but, there might be more(:

@SofieBlues Hi. If you read this discussion thread that tells advice to new wattpaders you would read that it mentions to ONLY advertise your stories at the Share Your Story Club. Click on the first page at the top and you would see. Next time, actually read the discussion instead of advertising your story. Hope you understand.

@Xingnalow Posting a picture on the story or for a cover? For a picture on the side, edit your story and on the right hand side click advanced then you should see pictures. Paste the image link of the picture you want and there you have it!

There is a place you can click on that says new chapter then it will start a new chapter for you! @nikkilicious

brand new to wattpad so this may be a dumb question that's already been answered somewhere, but can I post the first few chapters of a self published book? Or should I just stick to new stories? I don't want to start out posting the wrong thing! Thanks!

@SofieBlues This is not an advertising thread. I'm sorry to have to do this, but Wattpad has created a Share Your Story Club designed specifically for posts like these. You can now go and share your story with the community in that forum. I am going to close this thread because it is story promotion and doesn't belong in this club.

@writing_dreamer Don't close this thread. One of the ambassadors pinned it up for all the NEWCOMERS to read at the NEWCOMERS club. Some users just don't read the discussion thread and just advertise here so its there fault but other users come here and ask questions and stuff. I already told @SofieBlues not to advertise anymore so its fine now. Thanks.
