I've always believed in destiny that there is something in our life that we were meant to do but it doesn't always happen, and try as i might, finding it is the hardest thing because i don't know which path to choose. Maybe I'm still too young to think about while everyone i know doesn't believe that. i believe that every single one of us, have a duty in our life.....and when i think hard about it,i don't know if it's even true anymore. IS IT? iS DESTING REAL? or is it another explanation for living your life?

@BiLLiDeSiACoShOnow2 That's one of those questions... first I need to know what 'destiny' is, and what 'real' is.

@BiLLiDeSiACoShOnow2 Biologically seen, we do have a duty in our life: procreating.

@TheLocalGuerilla Why don't I get paid for that, then, instead of having to pay?

God created you out of love, to love and be loved by Him. Our destiny is to follow Christ and seek His plan for us. It makes you complete. The thought of adding Gods plan for me, used to bore me. I sought after earthly realationships and fame. I became close to celebrities (in my feild) and saw their emptiness. Fame & riches do not buy happiness. It is true. Finnaly, I decided to give God a try and over the first few years, I have found peace, joy, power, provision, wisdom, happiness, authority over evil, humility and most of LOVE! Its a greater love than what can be acheived on earth with people. I understand why the greeks believed in soulmates because they felt their other half was missing. Truly, the part that is missing in our lives here on earth is Jesus & the Holy Spirit. God Bless You All.

I think destiny is real. We all have a reason to be on this Earth. It isn't always what we expect or what we want, but I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I think the hardest part is accepting when life isn't going the way we believe our destiny should be going. However, in reality if a person doesn't have challenges in life than they have no way of becoming stronger or learning. I think it is easy to not "complete" one's destiny by limiting one's self based on fear. But, yeah. Destiny is real.

I'm not sure everything happens for a reason...today I stubbed my toe. I didnt deserve it nor did I learn anything from it but I did confess what Gods words says and I believed in healing and it got instantly better. Praise the Lord (He is my healer!)

@BiLLiDeSiACoShOnow2 no I don't believe in destiny, never have probably never will because if destiny exists you are not in control of your life you make your life how you want to make it to some extent you control it.. of course other people in your life and situations do to but its not like there is a reason for it

@thatstheway i mean weren't we all borne to do something like like i don't know, i mean isn't there something in all of us that we should do before we die. like isn't there some path that was waiting for you.....

@BiLLiDeSiACoShOnow2 I get what you are saying, and yes we should do something before we die, but I don't think there is some path we make the path.. our enviorment influences it.. but there isn't some outside force predetermining what it is we do throughout our lifetime, and before we die

    just my personal opinion :D

We should all choose our own 'destiny' but obviously that is hard. Some people are just born with opportunity, others most certainly not. We should just do whatever comes along really, that is what I'm doing. Just take life as it comes, no plans yet until it becomes necessary, or dangerous not to. Kind of being in a daze; nothing really sticking you in a place, but allowing you to move in all directions regardless.

Destiny - a destination is somewhere you are heading. If you determine a destination for yourself in life (marriage, love, to kill 500 nuns by the time you're 25) then you have a destiny to reach for. If you're talking about the ambiguous metaphysical concept of destiny as some kind of purpose to your existence I think that's probably just wishful thinking. Sorry to tell you this but you're about as important in the greater scheme of things as this full stop .
