i love romance stories too, the ones with happily ever afters. real life is too depressing. i love to lose myself in a good sunny happy romance. my fave authors are Julia quinn (she's got a great sense of humour) and lisa kleypas(sweet but some parts still makes me grin like an idiot). |

My fav is actually a book made in the 50s, my English teacher forced me to read it in detention at first i didn't even glance at it but two hours of sitting doing nothing didn't sound all that great, so i just read it out of boredness, my teacher asked for it back but i wasn't finished i was completely engaed and i asked him if i could 'borrow' it, i still have it at home ; ) It was so amazing at it was such a simple concept but it was extremely cute Fifteen by Beverly Cleary |

My favorite book of all time is Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. The plot is about this girl who gets....raped.....and she learns that telling the truth will be hard, but it will always help in the end. The way Sarah Dessen writes it, I feel like I am walking next to Annabel Green (the main character) as she discovers who she needs to be. It is a must read and I truly believe that everyone should read it. Just Listen is the best young adult, romance novel I have read yet!:) |

One of my favorites is Alison Weir. She'd not a novelist, but she writes non-fictions about the Tudor dynasty of England and the crossover from the middle ages to the renaissance is one of my FAVORITE things to read about so i LOVE her books. I especially like 'The Six Wives of King Henry VIII' because all of his wives were so diverse. My favorite Novelist however would have do be, hands down, Douglas Adams; author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It is one of the most quirky, interesting, and HILARIOUS books I have ever read. If you haven't read it, go buy a copy. NOW. |

Maggie Stiefvater. Her stories are amazing and have really strong characters and supporting characters. Personally her latest novel, The Scorpio Races is my all time favourite. It's extremely original and all the characters are loveable in their own way. She usually writes in two POV's which I think suits the way she writes, it gives her story that extra padding, I guess, that it needs to really take you to where it's set. Her imagery is also amazing. In TSR, her main female character is very strong and loyal and her male character also has that certain air about him that I haven't come across in a long, long time. I would definitely advise you to read it! |

@underland On the contrary, I haven't actually read too many of her books, but in Shiver, Linger, and Forever (the series) I didn't really like how she introduced the romance into the book, as it was a bit confusing and she didn't really explain that much. Also, I was a bit confused as to why the main character, Grace, already knew about werewolves existing, or why she took it so calmly. Moreover, I didn't get how Grace was already sort of attracted to Sam, even though she had only seen him as a wolf before. Those things I thought needed a bit of clarificaftion. Other than that, I tend to like Cassandra Clare and Julie Kagawa's books. |

My favourite authors are: Michael Morpurgo, because of his way to make you think that you're actually in the place your reading about and way with words, and Rick Riordan because of his humour and vivid imagination. I like fantasy and adventure. |

My favorite books . . . it'd have to be either The Hunger Games or Fablehaven. My favorite author, though, would have to be Melody Carlson. :) Oh! And J.K. Rowling. ;D |
