Age: 17, turning 18 on July 19 (Senior in high school)

Personality: Opal is sort of a wild and reckless person. She has no regard for the rules and treats them as if they're not even there. She lives on the edge and in the moment, and isn't scared to try anything. Underage drinking? Done it. Snorting smarties? Done it. Snorting harder shizz? Done it. Weed? Done it. Meth? Refused because she likes her brain the way it is, thank you very much. Sneaking to the top of Notre Dame Cathedral on half rotted stairs? Done it. Basically anything you can think of that would require someone to live on the edge, she's done. Some would call her an adrenaline junkie, but she doesn't think of herself that way. Opal doesnt take any shit from anyone and will put them in their place. She doesnt tolerate fakeness, and has no patience for sluts, bitches, or bullies. Basically, if you keep it real and tolerably nice (thats a bad way to put it... More like, no bullying) around her than she doesnt have a problem. Something that is surprising to most people is that Opal is actually extremely intelligent. Although she is more street and random fact smart than school and book smart. She has a rather short attention span.

The problem: She doesnt really have a problem that makes her go to this town on vacation because Opal lives there year round. However, she does have a problem. She doesn't know what she's going to do with her life. She doesn't have a plan for the future whatsoever, and that bothers her (well, it bothers her father, who in turn bothers her) immensely. She graduated high school already, and should be going to college, but she never applied to any, and she doesn't even know what she's interested in majoring in. Her father keeps pressuring her to make a decision, and stop being worthless and lazy (his opinion of her because she's not eager to go to college like her older brother had hasn't known what she wanted to do since she was ten like her sister who was only 10 months younger than her, so they graduated together because Rose skipped a grade.) She is the middle child who is just confused.

Anything Special: She lives in a medium sized cottage on the beach-theres a little deck on the back of her house, and then steps leading down to the beach and surrounded by that beach grass (the really long stuff lol) Anyway, the house is pretty colorful on the outside since it's painted a royal blue, and on the inside, it's rather nautical. Think a smaller, bluer version of the beach house in The Last Song. Her mother was really into sailing (her mother's dead-died giving birth to Rose.) She's not really talked about much. They have a really nice sail boat.

Also, Opal is trained and a master of Krav Maga, an Israeli adaptationof street fighting. It has been adapted to be a balance of defense and offense and sort of a "him-or-me" style of fighting. She learned because she read about it and really wanted to learn how to do it, so she found a teacher.

Name: Marianne Branche

Age: 17

Personality: Marianne is close as to what most people think of as the tough, sassy farm girl. She has strong attitude that often leads her to speaking her opinion strongly and sometimes getting carried away. She is a leader, willing to take a stand when no one wants to and knows what it is to walk through hell. Marianne is not very outgoing at heart but forces herself to be a little more than natural for her own good. She is very strong hearted and can survive without a man at her side any day, making her highly independent. She is hard worker and once she puts her mind to something, she never does stop. Marianne is a very loyal person and will be that way if you’re on her good side. She also is, luckily, a patient person due to growing up around horses, which are very temperamental animals, but when her temper is blow, nothing ever ends well. She has a very bad habit of being bossy, often making her look bitchy when that is not the case. Marianne is an amazing friend when treated right and always ignores the antics of those she dislikes. She is a carefree and lighthearted spirit, but she is responsible and careful about what she does when it comes to certain things. I.e. parties. Marianne also prefers the company of horses to people at times and is one to complain a lot.

The problem: Marianne’s problem is more of a tragedy, so beware. Her mother sent Marianne away from her hometown, a small town in Montana, where her family owned and operated a horse ranch. About six months beforehand, Marianne’s family had a tragedy hit: her father was diagnosed with brain cancer. Four months later, he passed away, leaving her mother to try and comfort six children, Marianne being the second youngest. Along with this, Marianne was brutally beaten by an ex whom she dumped for very good reasons, putting her in the hospital for a few weeks. Now, Marianne is traumatized by this, giving her a fear of some people. Her mother then decided once Marianne seemed to be healing quickly, to send her away for the summer with her older, 19-year-old sister, Gillian. This is to help Marianne recuperate after all of these horrific events tearing her apart all at once, thinking it will be good for her healing process.

Anything Special: Marianne is a music lover, as she plays multiple instruments and sings a little. She, obviously, adores horses and can’t be anywhere unfamiliar without her own dapple-gray gelding (male) one named Comet. She is not a huge sporty person and loves to read outside in the spring and summer and has a very creative and excitable mind. And yes, she does have tiny bit of an accent since she lived in Texas for 11 years.

@InLuvWithRonWeasly yes, they're lives will cross, mainly at the party. there will be some of us who don't meet each other at all, but we are all connected because of Percy's party. So, if something major happens, that might be the only crossing that might happen. so, yeah.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been around. Swamped with homework and I just dropped my best friend off at the bus terminal since shes moving to Regina a large city two days west of where I live of course.
