Non-Teens of Wattpad Unite! (part 2)

I know a lot of you are wondering why the new thread and its for two reasons.

1. A lot of the founding members have moved on to another discussion and so has our embassador and she has- figuritively speaking- handed over the reins to me. (but they promise to pop in once in a while)

2. The other discussion has gotten pretty long and I fear that it might be intimidating for some to jump in and chat. So I decided to start a new discussion with the club rules (something the other discussion lacked)

The rules are as follow.

1. You must be at least 21. .

2. NO promoting books. As friends we like to help each other with our stories and to talk about possible plots but this is not the SYS club.

3. NO fighting. For months now we've managed to keep the forum relatively peaceful and I'd like to continue the tradition, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.

@ShazzaWazza We dont celebrate them but we had fun going to my paretns and eating a lot. lol Playing some games and just having an overall good time. The new year started with me still confined to the sofa recovering from my surgery. But if all goes well i'll start working again in 2 weeks. I cant wait to get back to work after almost 9 months of being home. I just hope i wioll still be able to do my job but i'll have to wait and see. Can i ask you what your job is? Besides being a mum? Or are you a full time mum?

@GoofyGirl Nice. Not too bad. I'm 2 hours into my work day and I'm already twiddling my thumbs out of boredom after 2 weeks of holidays. LOL... I think a bit of reading and writing is in order today. Might as well indulge when I still can.

@GoofyGirl I hope all goes well for you when work starts up again and that the mending from your surgery (noticed on previous posts) speeds up for you too.

@ShazzaWazza Ah, well I work in a lobbying office for the property and casualty insurance market and since Parliament isn't sitting, the days are pretty sluggish and long. My upside, our head office sent me a massive new flat-screen monitor so I got to set that up this morning. LOL How have things been with you? Little princess is teething still huh? Hope she gives you a break some time soon.

@ShazzaWazza Sounds like a very interesting career. I am a nurse and working currently on the Neurology ward. A lot of people in a coma after accidents waiting to recover but sadly many end up as a plant with nothing left of life. I guess it made me live my life to the fullest possible cause you never know when it will end. It also makes me more cautious when driving my car, i dont want to become one those patients on my ward and i most certainly do not wanna be the one causing someone else to become like that. I'm married too but we cant have any kids unfortunately. I've accepted that and now we just enjoy life just us 2. What are your childrens names?

@GoofyGirl Definitely an honourable career. Oddly enough, I studied Respiratory Therapy, hence the RT in my screen name. LOL... Things went in a different direction for me financially and I was never able to finish my last year. After a few years, I got this job and I've been here ever since. It pays the bills, I'm not entirely happy unless I'm being challenged which, as of late, there hasn't been much of a challenge. So I've added writing to my daily routine and I plan on taking a few courses to break into interior design. For the past few years, I've been on a plan of finding myself all over again and getting my life in order (health-wise). It's slowly working and my marriage is better because of it. I'm not as bitchy. Haha!

I'm so sorry about the not being able to have kids part. I've got a beautiful 3 year old daughter and we have plans for more but that'll all depend on my PCOS, so I know the woes of conceiving all too well.

@GoofyGirl Not for Parliament but for a private company that lobbies with Parliament, so we meet up with Ministers and Deputy Ministers to discuss our efforts in the hopes of passing various bills, from auto-theft legislation, to hands-free stuff, identity theft, climate change, anything that affects the home, auto and business insurance industry.

I've seen loads of changes in the industry in my 6.5 years but it's time for a change at this point. I'm sort of in a dead-end position and I think I need an out soon.

@ItalRT4u Health wise, what do you mean? You have an illness of some sort? I'm happy you are taking the time to rediscover yourself and becoming a happier person in life. Well, you still have bitchy moments, dont we all? Than perhaps i should ask you to do my interior design after i've moved? We are moving to Canada next summer. I cant wait for this adventure to commence.

@GoofyGirl yeah ur job must be hard yet gratifying when a miracle happens and that one person awakes wow. Its hard to watch livibg people dormant. Its good you guys are living life to the fullest if your hundred percent certain u both can never have children how about adopting not one with parents an orphan perhaps so you wont go through the whole aged 18im going off to serach for my real.parents etc. Perhaps in the future?

@ItalRT4u that kool i always wanted to be a interiors designer its something i will look intobwhen the baby starts fulltime school. Its why i luv my work i work.in the home department surrounded by vases and a wall full of vibrant coloured cushions etc damn expensive though vases costing above 50pounds cushions costing 20 30pounds lol

@GoofyGirl Not sick, just a few things that I've neglected over the years that have a hereditary component and I'm taking preventative measures. Other than that, it's just all about me living a healthier lifestyle.

So you're moving to Canada? Where to? I'm in Ottawa, Ontario and I love it here. Where are you living now if you don't mind me being so bold?

@ShazzaWazza No more challenges which means boring. I'll keep the job until I have my own clients that help me bring in the cash with the interior design when I get that all up and running. It's going to be a scary endeavour but it's well worth it in my book. I rather be broke and happy than be rich and miserable! LMAO!

Ouch! Those vases are crazy expensive! Dollar stores have loads of hidden gems. They're always a good place to go and check out from time to time.

@GoofyGirl I broke up with my husband the other night, i left him...and i spent the worse night of my life, couldn't sleep a wink. The next morning i went back to the apt. He couldn't sleep either, we talked.

Later that day my big brother came over and came to the rescue. lol he is threatening to kill the other guy.

So that night was new years eve. We went to a party, (my big bro n his family and robert and i and peanut)

Well all the woman at the party got drunk...we are talking a bottle of Patron, Buchanans, Jimador, Jose Cuervo....and a couple of other ones. I have not drank like that in ages and i ended up kissing the toilet...I felt like I was going to die!!! lol everyone recorded me and the one thing I remember only saying was "I love my husband! I didn't cheat on him!" LOL i'm so embarrased. But like I said my big bro came to my rescue, he talked to robert and made he see that cheating is just not something i can ever do. Hubby is not being an ass anymore, so now we just have to wait for his family to come back from Mex.

@anakelia The drunkeness aside, i am so happy you could work things out with hubby. You have the best big bro in the world girl. Dont be embarrased, we all do or say stupid or true things when drunk. I even recall my friends telling me i was so drunk once i even started hitting on my brother, talk about embarrasing. Lets hope Roberts family dont start ruffling any feathers anymore. Sometimes taking a bit of distance to see what you mean for the other and that the accusations made could never be true. I'm so happy you worked things out. Atleast this year started on a better note for you than the ending of last year. xxx

I work as a nurse on the neurology ward and i love reading and cooking. I'm a tomboy at heart and known to speak my mind. If ever you feel offended, tell me. @GoofyGirl I know right! I started my year the way I intend to finish it, with my hubby :D...how sappy. lol

It took me a whole 24hrs to get over my hangover. Along with the video of me sleeping on the bathroom floor and the one of me paying my respects to the porcelain king my hubby also has one where I clearly state that no more alky for me-ever! Lol I'm self deprecating enough to offer to share the vids with y'all
