@A_Lovely_Lover4Life No one called you that at all! Others are allowed to voice their opinion, like yourself. It doesn't matter how old you are. What about the people's work you openly say you don't like, they might be young too. I wasn't attacking anyone, I was merely voicing MY opinion, which is people shouldn't hate on each other when this is a place for everyone of all abilities to write what they want.

It's really hard to find a story to get into... people need to stop taking bits and peices from other peoples stuff and do their own work... like, the wattshot list is like one run-on

I'm actually starting to give up on finding any stories that aren't cliche. I mean I think I', just going to finish the books in my library and call it a quits.

@Cierra @RichSpirit I never ever even look at the lists. When I look at the front page, I see a load of high school rmanoces and cliches. Either that or I see a strong in another section based on love. Is this really what Wattpad is about? Sharing Teenaged dreams of love for other teenagers to read?

I speak this as one of the few young people in the world who likes to read and write fiction without love as the main theme. Even the best on here fall into the romance catagory.

It's upsetting that it's so hard to find a book that I can't go grammar or romance nazi on.

@HomeInMyHeart Remember what this site is all about though. It's for ever everyone to write no matter how fantastic they are at grammar or not. Practice is how everyone improves. This site needs more encouraging rather than slating. Rather than going 'nazi' why not help?

If you're all looking for 'professional' work then I suggest a book store.

@princessharley I'm not asking for proffesional, just half decent. I am on other sites too - almost every story I read on there is maybe not "proffessional", but has a great story line, unique characters and is written by an amazing writer. I wonder why it's so hard to find a story vaguely resembling those I ahve read on other sites.

One thing I have to say about Wattpad, is that it very much is turing into a social ntworking site, for writers and aspiring authors. i have nothing against that - I just think we should be giving our votes to people who have gone to the effort of doing something maybe outof the ordinary.

Bu that's just my opinion - I know there are more genres out there than the ones I read ;)

@HomeInMyHeart I agree with the vote thing and I only ever vote on something I enjoyed reading. But the site is for all abilities, some people might not like that but I think it's a great thing. I've seen people improve so much and constructive feedback really helps. When I started on here my grammar SUCKED but it's getting better, mostly because some people have commented and said 'this is how it should be'.

I think wattpad is more user friendly and has a sense of community, it's very social and I've met some great people on here. Maybe ask for recommendations so you don't have to go searching through stories that you don't like?

@HomeInMyHeart It's the same with fans. People fan randomly and I've had so many people come on chat or message me saying please fan! Grr! I only fan the people whose work I enjoy or who comment a lot and have really helped me.
