Hiring People To Work For Wattpad's New Newspaper

@Clairevoyant Yes, we are refreshing....ugh. Okay, here's the RULES....

Please DO NOT quit so early or at the last minute. Make things in a mess.

Please cooperate well.

Pass requirements ON TIME.

You do know that this newspaper is 'weekly' so please, on the days of the week, BE ACTIVE. It's not like we are meeting EVERYDAY. I'm just saying to be active, not totally active or anything but like check your Wattpad twice or thrice a week..but not on weekends because that's when we will organize all the submissions. So, once you applied, you're REALLY sure about it.

Please DO NOT load this forum with a lot of questions....? Because some of your questions are ALREADY answered in the previous pages. It's making things redundant.

So, that's all. I'm stressed. ....o.o

@PatrickMendez You specifically said 'So, others are fired, I mean it', my name not being mentioned, it wasn't an assumption for me to think that I was. So yes, I'm not acting like a 'grade-one pupil', I was just responding to what you said. And I don't see you saying 'refresh' anywhere... I don't think there's any need for you to be so rude, especially when I haven't done anything wrong. Last time I checked, forum's are made for asking questions etc. and it wasn't exactly like people were asking stupid ones anyway. Just because you're tired/stressed/whatever doesn't mean you can take it out on others that aren't responsible for it.

These are the jobs that I know are not taken. -News Reporter
-Staff Writer

News Reporters do the job of taking random articals and parchments or the most exciting news on wattpad. For example, a news reporter will say stuff like: 

-Where the latest Wattpad meeting will be
-Watty Awards is ending soon
-Wattpad is now on google plus
-The 'You know your a Wattpadder when..' contest

so on, so forth.. The News Reporters basically have the most important job because they boost the Staff Writers and Visual Coordinaters to go. But the Visual Coordinater job is taken, since me and @ThePandaWriter have already took the spots.

Basically all the Staff Writer does is take the news off the News Reporter and write about it, into longer more detailed words or paragraphs, like in the news paper.

 I dont know how to apply for both of these because I applied for the Visuals, but you can ask @PatrickMendez to apply. Im not the founder, he is, I am just a worker who can see how stressed he is. :P 

BUT!!!!

Once you apply and get the job, please do not quit and be active, active does not mean you need to go on everyday, but go on at least twice or three times a week.

I dont know what is happening? If someone told us these details beforehand it would be a lot better!!!! I want to be the staff writer, but until PatrickMendez sorts this out then I dont think even there will be a Wattpad Newspaper!!!!!!! @PerfectlyTeddy

Hmm, I dont know, Im just trying to help and I think Patrick has already told some people about what they need to do in their job before they applied and already got the job. And if you want a job, go ask @PatrickMendez because, I am not the boss here. I didnt plan any of this stuff.

So to apply for a staff writer than ask him, and I think to apply you will need to write an article for something and send it to him to show him if your up for TWT or not. Again, I am just a part of the Visuals so I have no idea on how to apply for staff writer.

Hi guys, I have made a guide for the people that dont know what to do in their own job. I am not completely sure if any of these are right are not, but I spent like 20 minutes trying to make this, so be glad that I am trying to help you! So please refer to the next few post!

The news reporter will take the most popular and exciting news of Wattpad, and report it to the Staff Writers and Visual Coordinators. The News Reporters will say something like the following examples:

-Where the latest Wattpad meeting will be
-Watty Awards is ending soon
-Wattpad is now on google plus
-The 'You know your a Wattpadder when..' contest

From there, the Staff Writers will do their own work and write the awesome news of Wattpad.

Staff Writers will have to wait for the News Reporters to report any of the newest and popular news and write about it, but in more longer and detailed paragraphs.

Basically all Staff Writers have to do is summarize the article, but again, in longer, more detailed words. So if you were writing about how Watty Awards 2011 is ending soon it would be something like:

The long await of Watty Awards has almost finished, authors who are participating in this years Watty Awards are eager to see if they have gotten into the second round, the suspense is almost up, just a few more days to go and we will see the winners of the first round of our Watty Awards!

*Okay, that example was crap, but that was on the spot, you can see why I was never meant to be a Staff Writer, right?*

Copyeditors are basically the editors of this whole thing, they edit any of the mistakes that any of the Interviewers or Staff Writers have made and just re read then check it up, and send it back to the original poster to correct any grammatical mistakes. So their job is easy, read, correct then send it back.

Interviewers have a fun and exciting job *Well, from my point of view* and what interviewers do is every week, there is one interviewer and they choose an author of their own choice, that interviewer interviews that author and finds out details about them and how they got inspired to write their story, and tiny details about their story or about the author themselves. Every interviewer gets a turn and if it were their turn this week, then the next week they would get pushed to the end of the cue, and wait for their turn.

*For example*

USER1-This week
USER2-Next week
USER3-The week after next week

Then the next week it would be

USER2-This week
USER3-Next week
USER1-The week after next week

Well, you get the point, do you?

And lastly, my boring job which I dont know why I applied for, is the Visual Coordinator. Basically all the Visual Coordinator does is find pictures that relate to the subject. The pictures cant be random or pornographic, in any ways possible but have to, and when I say have to, I mean literally, have to, stick to the theme, to the news and have to relate to it. The pictures need to be beautifully stunning OR have to have a hidden meaning captured inside the photo.

Chill, people. We're already stretched thin as it is. Please try to understand that we're really messed up here, since people come and go like TWT is some kind of fast food/take out place. -_- See, we're doing our best to not overlook things, but sometimes something goes amiss. @Clairevoyant, please don't take offense here. We're really, really sorry to have accidentally mixed you up in the people who are fired. Thank you SO much for sticking with us all this time. :) We're really sorry for all this mess, but we hope to clear it all up before the first issue of TWT comes out in December. Please try to stay calm, the airplane is NOT about to crash, and the pilots are doing their best to keep it up in the air. ;) Ressa
